Why Race?
Triathlon usually consists of a swim, cycle, and run in that order. There are varying distances with Olympic distance being the most popular.
Olympic distance consists of a 1.2km swim, 40km ride, and a 10km run. Shorter distances are often referred to as sprints or super sprints and longer distances referred to as long distance, 70.3 or Ironman.
Racing is really fun way of testing your abilities. The atmosphere is really great and positive and most people are generally cheering you on.
